Theme parks have expanded into a significant feature of international tourism, and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts have developed into a leading player in the context of worldwide theme park management and operations. The following case study analyzes the unique Disney experience and discusses the importance of theming on overall customer satisfaction. Disney’s take on visitor management is examined, as well as the impact theme parks may potentially have on a destination. Valuable insights are provided by Dr. Ady Milman, professor with a special focus on theme park and attraction management at Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando, Florida.
